Dental insurance is a misnomer. It is a pre-paid benefit that offers a discount when an office contracts with an insurance provider. The limit on what the insurance company covers is relatively low, frequently denied despite medical necessity, and ultimately tarnishes the patient-provider relationship. While we currently are in-network with several insurances, we may choose to go out-of-network if we see your care adversely affected.
